Two pictures since it's our final day of daily Maths Eyes! Everybody worked really hard during Maths Week. We learned new skills. We practised old ones. And, importantly, we had fun with maths!!
We used our Maths Eyes to take photographs around the school grounds. Have a look at some of the things we thought we could ask maths questions about!
Rinneamar físeán faoi Cinnín Óir. Bain taitneamh as! We made a video about Goldilocks. Enjoy!!
Look at this bat flying across the screen! On only our second day of experimenting with Scratch, a couple of us learned to do this by asking the sprite to face right, move ten steps and change costume when the right arrow is clicked. Wow!!! Have a go at home! scratch.mit.edu
Our Maths stations today included a place value board game and Scratch on the netbooks. We also used pegboards to practise counting in threes. Click on the Maths Week page to read more!
We used Scratch on the netbooks! Scratch is a programme that allows you to create stories, games and animations. You can use Scratch at home too! Just visit the website! http://scratch.mit.edu/
