We solved two mysteries via Skype this week! On Thursday, we had a Skype call with our buddies from Rhode Island. We had to guess what animal they were thinking of! On Friday, we watched our final clue from our mystery class and decided that they must be from Pennsylvania, U.S.A!
We are exchanging short video messages with another class in a mystery location. We are recording clues and must try to guess which country the other class is from. Click on the Skype and Twitter page for more!
We learned lots about the U.S. during our latest Skype call with 2nd Grade in Narrangansett, Rhode Island. We shared our questions with each other on Twitter so that we could prepare our answers. Here are the questions!
Ours: http://padlet.com/NiamhDG/dkn2t9g3vk8g Theirs: http://padlet.com/mccallig/1q2xmoaogd7o We found the answers very interesting. Our Skype buddies even sang us a Spanish song! We learned how to make a maze game for the Hour of Code! And we were not the only ones coding! See the Scratch page for pictures of Barack Obama and the Taoiseach, Enda Kenny, being taught how to code....by kids!!!
