Being able to add doubles quickly is a very useful strategy for adding all numbers. We can use it to help us with our near-doubles too...
If we know that 6 + 6 = 12, then 6 + 7 must be one more than that. 6 + 7 = 13! If we know that 5 + 5 = 10, then 5 + 4 must be one less than that. 5 + 4 = 9! These songs will help us get even faster at adding our doubles!
