As part of our project on communication, we made string telephones.
Our experiment proved that sound travels better through solids. It was difficult to hear our partners clearly when they spoke quietly from some distance. But we could hear them perfectly when they spoke into the telephone and the string was pulled tight. We made predictions about how different factors might change the result of our experiment.
